This has been achieved by revising the visas and residence permits previously known as&nbsp;&#8220;passport-talent&#8221;&nbsp;and the introduction of a new residence card specifically designed for this group of workers.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"6b5bp103\">The\u00a0passport-talent (now called talent-card)\u00a0was a multi-year residence legislation document aimed at foreigners whose presence in France is considered an economic asset for the country. This is\u00a0intended for 11 categories of applicants, including young, qualified\u00a0graduates, researchers, economic investors,\u00a0and artists, among others.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:20% auto\"><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"241\" height=\"428\" src=\"https:\/\/bluebridgelaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/7188d7_20d0b5e2dc3b46529275de86323159d1mv2.webp\" alt=\"|\" class=\"wp-image-1781 size-full\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bluebridgelaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/7188d7_20d0b5e2dc3b46529275de86323159d1mv2.webp 241w, https:\/\/bluebridgelaw.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/7188d7_20d0b5e2dc3b46529275de86323159d1mv2-169x300.webp 169w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 241px) 100vw, 241px\" \/><\/figure><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p>To\u00a0make the process more comprehensible and attractive, the law has implemented three main measures:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Simplification of Designations: <\/strong>The term &#8220;passport&#8221; has been removed from the name of the document to\u00a0reduce the confusion associated with this term.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Unification of Categories:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol id=\"tilrpiaa2eea4n5098797\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Combines the three types of former talent passports used for business start-ups, innovative economic projects&nbsp;and direct investment into a <strong>single multiannual residence card<\/strong>&nbsp;with the designation &#8220;Talent&nbsp;&#8211; Project Leader&#8221; (according to the amended <a href=\"https:\/\/revuefiduciaire.grouperf.com\/lien_spad\/?sens=Standard&amp;statut=Consultation&amp;fournisseur=SPAD&amp;base=LEGI&amp;code=LEGITEXT000006070158&amp;idspad=LEGIARTI000042776751&amp;numero=L421-16\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>art. L. 421-16<\/u><\/strong><\/a>&nbsp;of CESEDA).&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>It unifies the three types of former talent passports intended for young, qualified\u00a0graduates, employees of innovative start-ups and mission workers into a <strong>single multiannual residence card<\/strong>\u00a0with the designation &#8220;Talent &#8211; Qualified Employee &#8221; (according to the amended CESEDA <a href=\"https:\/\/revuefiduciaire.grouperf.com\/lien_spad\/?sens=Standard&amp;statut=Consultation&amp;fournisseur=SPAD&amp;base=LEGI&amp;code=LEGITEXT000006070158&amp;idspad=LEGIARTI000042776769&amp;numero=L421-9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong><u>art. L. 421-9<\/u><\/strong><\/a>).\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<ul id=\"5a2mmiaa2eea4n5098801\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>New Residence Card for Medical and Pharmaceutical Professionals:<\/strong>&nbsp;A specific multi-year residence card has been created for health professionals, including doctors, dental surgeons, midwives,&nbsp;and pharmacists, who have qualified outside the European Union. This card allows them to practise&nbsp;their profession in France and is valid for a maximum of 4 years. \u00ab PADHUE \u00bb) (law&nbsp;art. 31;&nbsp;CESEDA art.
