Applicable professional rules
Maître Colorado is subject to the rules governing the legal profession in France, in particular Law No. 71-1130 of 31 December 1971, Decree No. 91-1197 of 27 November 1991, the National Internal Rules of the legal profession (RIN) and the Internal Rules of the Paris Bar (RIBP). She is bound by professional secrecy.
Professional indemnity insurance
Maître Colorado benefits from the professional indemnity insurance and the client funds guarantee taken out collectively by the Paris Bar for the benefit of all its members.

The Blue Bridge network
Maître Colorado works with the Blue Bridge network, a network of independent lawyers and legal professionals established in particular in France, Spain and Latin America. This network is not a joint-practice structure of the legal profession: each member practises autonomously, under their own professional title, under their own responsibility and in accordance with the ethical rules applicable to them. Membership of the network creates no common structure between its members and no joint liability.
Any referral to an independent professional is discussed with the client in advance. The scope of each professional’s work, fees and responsibilities is defined for the matter concerned. Nothing in this notice excludes any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Yuliana Colorado is the data controller for enquiries and client matters handled through her individual practice in France. Blue Bridge Law SLP is responsible for processing relating to its own services and the technical administration of this website.
The contact form collects contact details and, according to your selections, information about your project, nationality, timing and financial circumstances. The message is optional. Required fields are identified in the form. These details are used to respond to your enquiry and assess the assistance requested; submitting the form does not subscribe you to a newsletter.
Access is limited to authorised persons involved in handling your enquiry or matter, and technical providers needed for hosting, messaging, appointment booking and website security. Independent professionals receive case information only where relevant to the agreed assistance and subject to professional confidentiality.
Purposes, legal bases and retention periods
1. Enquiries and appointments: the information you provide is used to respond to your request and take steps before an engagement (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Enquiry records are retained for up to three years from the last active contact, unless an engagement begins or a legal obligation or dispute justifies separate retention.
2. Client matters and billing: processing is based on the engagement and applicable legal duties (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). Case records are kept for the engagement and applicable limitation periods. Accounting records are retained for ten years from the end of the relevant accounting year. Access to archived records is restricted.
3. Website operation, security and cookies: technical data may be processed to operate and protect the website. Non-essential trackers require your consent unless a legal exemption applies. See the cookie policy and the consent settings for the purposes and durations of the relevant cookies.
4. Newsletter (where applicable): processing of the email address. Legal basis: your consent (Article 6.1.a GDPR). Retention: until consent is withdrawn.
Under the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability of your data, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent. Mediation, applicable law and jurisdiction
For legal services provided by Yuliana Colorado in her individual practice in France, consumer clients may use the free consumer mediation service for the legal profession, after first attempting to resolve the dispute through a written complaint to the lawyer.

Fee disputes follow the procedure in Articles 174 et seq. of Decree No. 91-1197 of 27 November 1991, before the Bâtonnier of the Paris Bar, with the appeal provided for by those rules. Other disputes remain subject to the applicable rules on jurisdiction. This notice does not restrict mandatory consumer rights.
For services contracted with Blue Bridge Law SLP in Spain, the applicable terms are specified in the engagement agreement, subject to mandatory law and consumer rights. Any mediation or arbitration requires the conditions and agreement required by the applicable rules.
In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law No. 3/2018 of 5 December on data protection and the guarantee of digital rights, the processing of the client’s personal data is confidential and strictly necessary for the provision of the services agreed between the parties.
